This is a loop of about 9.5 miles, 6 of it on maintained trails. Elevation gain from trailhead to summit is about 3000', with very little elevation lost and having to be regained unless you climb the peak between Point 8987 and Headquarters Creek Pass. The route works well in either direction, but I recommend going to Our Lake first.
